Dyed Polystyrene Beads

Dyed poly styrene beads are internally stained with water-insoluble organic dyes. The dye molecules are embedded inside the polymer matrix of the particles, not only preventing dye leakage and color bleaching but also leaving the particle surface intact for biocon jugation. Carboxyl-functionalized dyed beads can be coupled with proteins, antibodies and other biomolecules by covalent bonding. Those beads are commonly used in later alflow test sand particle agglutination tests. Dyed Polystyrene Beads can also be used in membrane coating, photo electronic modulation and other research fields.
