Magnetic AgaroseBeads

Magnetic agarose beads are synthesized by dispersing small magnetic iron oxide nano particles (~10nm) in agarose Microspheres with an agarose content of 6.0%, following by crosslinking the agarose matrix. The particle size distribution is broad and the particle sizes are between 40-120μm. Magnetic agarose beads coupled with ProteinA, Ni-NTA or other affinity ligands can be used in small-scale antibody or Protein Purification, immuno precipitation, and pull-down assays. Magnetic agarose beads with other functional groups or unmodified are available as customized products.
