Magnetic Polymer Beads

Magnetic Polymer Beads are spherically shaped with a sandwich-type structure. Each bead consists of a polymethacrylate core particle and a polymer surface layer with a third layer of magnetic materials between the above two components. Those beads exhibit highly uniform sizes with CV＜3%.
Currently, our magnetic polymer beads are available as two separated series. The HD series high-performance Magnetic Beads are prepared via aproprietary double-layer surface coating technology to render the surface extremely hydrophilic, thus leads to minimum non-specific adsorption of biomolecules. This series of products are especially suitable for developinghighly-sensitive bioassayse. g. magnetic bead-based chemiluminescence immunoassays. The HC series magnetic beads bear a single surface layer of hydrophilic polymer, making the beads less hydrophilic than the HD series yet more cost-effective. The HC series beads are more suitable for biological magnetic separation processes including immuno(co) precipitation, pull-down assays, magnetic cell isolation, specific nucleic acid sequence capture, etc.
